So can you buy duty free at Bali airport (i.e. alcohol, cigarettes, and perfume) and is it more expensive than Australia. Also have hear stories that they will take alcohol off you at Bali airport?? Trip Advisor Forum

We are travelling via Bangkok to Bali for 17 nights, and am getting conflicting advice about the allowanceA bit worried about the shortage of vodka etc, we are not beer drinkersHow much can each person bring into Bali and how strict are the customs, I believe they scan your luggageand mark suitcases that have bottles in them for the customs ??????Am not trying to bring lots, but 2 litres for 2 persons isnt a lot for the amount of time thereand as we are staying in a villa we will be doing most of our drinking thereany advice would be appreciated Lonely Planet

Duty free count as a carry on?
HiI want to buy a camera at the duty free store at the airport but Ive head that virgin are very strict on only one carry on into the plane for economywill they say I have to fit the camera box inside my carry on bag or do they allow a duty free bag in addition does anyone know? Disneysecrets.com
